Client Guide for House Hairdressing

Following the guidelines set by the government please read fully!!

 

 

  • We kindly ask to only make appointments online ( online booking) or via salon telephone. Please do not call into salon to make a appointment. (All patch test appointments will also require pre-arranged times.

  • If you show any symptoms or have been in contact with anyone showing symptoms please do not attend your appointment and let us know as soon as possible.

  • Please come to your appointment alone. We regret that at present we cannot allow children into salon. Please arrive on time and not early or late. This ensures we can maintain adequate social distancing measures. Our coat rack is not available at this time so please travel light and only bring essentials.

  • When entering the salon there will be a box marked on the floor please make sure you follow the instructions on the sign sanitize your hands thoroughly and check in at reception. Sanitizer gel is available on entry.

  • Reception only used for checking in. Payment for your service and products will be taken at your station via a mobile app. Please pay by contactless card payments where possible.

  • Our staff will be wearing visors and masks are available for stylist and customers free of charge. The salon will have a deep clean every day and throughout the day and all stations are sanitized between each customer along with all equipment used. We are closing the salon each lunchtime to allow stylist to eat lunch and clean.

  • Mask will have to be worn while the team are working at the front of your hair (for example whilst cutting at front of your face . If you go to our toilet we ask you kindly to wear a mask which we will provide.

  • Member of staff will take you to your station. We have a one way system in place in salon so please stick to this. Our staff have been allocated teams and their own stations and backwashes to avoid any cross contamination.

  • We have removed every other chair to maintain social distancing. We have ensured all chairs are at a safe distance. Please stick to these seating arrangements.

  • We have a non-contact thermometer and your temperature will be checked at the chair as part of consultation (staff will have this in a morning also) – Consultations will be conducted through mirrors to avoid face to face contact as much as possible.

  • We will still aim to have a catch up as best we can but please understand that it may not be possible to talk as much in salon with heavy PPE worn by staff.

  • We are required to wash your hair at every appointment. We reserve the right to refuse our services if we cannot wash your hair. It is a sanitation requirement.

  • We have disposable towels for single use on every client. There will be no cross contamination of PPE or swapping of equipment.

  • Toilets and handwashing facilities are still openly available to customers in salon but please do not enter the PPE cupboard without fully sanitizing your hands. Please wear a face mask whilst using the toilet. Our staff room will have been fully disinfected for the staff to get a drink ect.

  • PPE is always fully sterilized and provided in bags.

  • We regret that at this time we cannot provide any hot drinks, however we do have bottled water. You are welcome to bring your own and keep it at your station. Please dispose of all rubbish with bins provided next to your station. Please also dispose of any used PPE into the bins adequately.

  • We regret that at this time we cannot provide any magazines but feel free to bring your own or own tablets ect.

  • Please try to keep talking to other customers at a minimum but if you do please wear your mask. We know this will be hard for us all be hopefully this won’t be for long. We all long to be able to chat as we normally would. Please observe social distancing at all times to keep everyone safe.

  • Your next appointment will be made by your stylist but we will not be using appointment cards at this time.

  • We know this seems like a lot to remember but we will soon all get used to this way of working and we cannot wait to welcome you all back into salon and our second home.
